Since 2004 we have been performing all-round steel machining on steel forged items for the railway sector: axles, wheel rims, wheelsets for underground trains and trams, one-piece wheels and loader wheels.
Working on forged items, Ubierre Officina Meccanica S.r.l. handles all the stages of processing of materials such as steel: roughing, finishing and drilling, up to delivery to the customer.
Our team produces spare parts for railway maintenance machines working with drawings provided by the customer during the project start-up phase.
In addition, Ubierre's highly specialised staff can provide different types of checks upon customer’s request:
- Quality reports produced manually by qualified personnel with certified and catalogued instruments;
- Checks with customer-owned templates and/or gauges;
- Digital reports developed with a DEA 3D machine in a controlled environment in the Metrology Laboratory.
It is possible to request in-house UT-UHT pre-finishing checks on rough-machined material; these checks are carried out by authorised and specialised external personnel collaborating with our company.
