CNC machinery, a state-of-the-art metrology laboratory, and international certification are the CNC machining control tools that Ubierre Officina Meccanica S.r.l. uses to guarantee its customers compliant and quality service.

METROLOGY LABORATORY

Ubierre Officina Meccanica S.r.l. serves its customers with the twenty-year experience of its workforce, which is constantly trained and updated, representing a continuously evolving company that embraces technological innovation and new market challenges.

The workshop is equipped with modern machinery to perform CNC machining checks, monitored with a computer-based INDUSTRIA 4.0 interconnection system, and an in-house metrology laboratory kept at a constant temperature.

In addition to being constantly kept at a controlled temperature, the metrology laboratory, which is the pride of the company, contains a 2019 DEA HEXAGON GLOBAL S BLUE three-dimensional measuring machine that can measure parts up to a maximum length of 3500 mm, a maximum height of 1100 m and a maximum width of 1200 mm, equipped with a CURVE ANALYSER continuous scanning system for profile measurement.

The laboratory is also provided with manual and digital precision measuring instruments, which are constantly calibrated through certified calibration presetting. This guarantees the machining of parts with very low levels of roughness and very restricted tolerances, e.g. roughnesses of Ra 0.8 and tolerances within 2/3 hundredths.

The technical staff use a 4.0 2D/3D design software as well as CAD/CAM software to produce drawings and CNC machining programmes that can be uploaded directly into the machine to optimise machining and tooling times.

Ubierre Officina Meccanica S.r.l. does not provide design services.

CHECK DESIGNED FOR OUR CUSTOMERS

Our highly specialised staff produce extremely accurate DEA 3D-certified inspection reports on a digital measuring machine and/or manual quality reports by using calibrated and catalogued measuring instruments in either our or the customer’s format.

One of our most successful partnerships is with an external company specialising in non-destructive material testing:

ultrasonic checks;
magnetic particle testing;
penetrating liquids;
radiographic control;
eddy current.

A customized offer can be provided on request.

On request, checks and inspections can be performed directly at our premises in Adro (BS), guaranteeing a shorter execution time and greater convenience for the customer.
